On July 1st, 2023, PulsePoint became available for all of the Benton County Fire Districts. PulsePoint is an application for your smartphone that can alert you to nearby CPR events. If you are trained in CPR, you can respond while emergency crews are on the way. You may arrive before EMS does and can start CPR - the sooner CPR is started, the greater the chance of survival.
Philomath Fire & Rescue offers regular classes on American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED at our station on Main Street in Philomath.
