The Fire District needs your help! As we enter our annual budget season, we are looking for a few community members to join us on our Budget Committee. This commitment is approximately 6 hours and consists of receiving and reviewing the budget as well as meeting on Thursday, May 19th at 6 pm to discuss the budget with the Fire District Staff and other Budget Committee members.
Each year the Fire District builds a budget based on the needs and the goals of the District. The Budget Committee helps review the suggested budget presented by the Fire District staff. They discuss various programs of the District and help provide community oversight to the business of the Fire District.
If you would like to participate on this committee, learn more about how the Fire District uses its funding, and our plans for the new fiscal year, please submit an application below. Applicants must be current residents of the Philomath Fire District and have at least 1 year of full-time residence within the District.
