Philomath Fire & Rescue ensures sufficient personnel for response to community emergencies with paid full-time and part-time staff as well as unpaid volunteers. Our combination department strives to maintain robust and speedy response to our community members. In an effort to fulfill this mission, we are accepting applications for part-time firefighters. Resident Volunteers act as both firefighter and medical responders and live at one of the District stations. In exchange for training, experience, and housing, they may participate in our tuition reimbursement program.
