Station 201 Staff
Philomath residents and visitors are served by a fire department consisting of a chief, 6 paid firefighter/EMT's, one paid EMS responder and an Administrative Assistant. There are 27 volunteer firefighter/EMT's and 7 volunteer EMS responders. Philomath’s main fire station is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing immediate response to all types of emergencies. Two engines, two aerial trucks and three medic units respond to over 500 incidents a year.
Philomath Fire & Rescue personnel consistently participate in continuing education. In addition to basic fire and medical emergencies, services include search and rescue, vehicle rescue (extrication), BLS emergency medical services, and hazardous material response.
PFR provides a wide range of public education and prevention services. The department remains committed to the safety and health of all Philomath residents and visitors and responds accordingly.
